Trindade – a natural paradise, surrounded by the ocean mountain ridge, between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, with beautiful beaches, waterfalls and breathtaking flora and fauna. Once a small fishing village that had fishing as its only source of income, the village of Trindade has passed through several changes over the years, especially after the opening of the road connecting the village to the rest of the continent.And that’s how Trindade became known for its beautiful beaches and waterfalls, which attract many visitors interested in knowing that heaven.With all this potential, Trindade also ended up attracting the attention of major investors, who wished to buy the land at derisive prices and drive out the local people. But the trindadeiro fought hard and did not let that happen and it is thanks to that difficult struggle that we can visit and enjoy this natural paradise today.The road connecting the village to the main road (Rio-Santos) was paved 12 years ago and it boosted the local tourism and economy, enabling a good infra-structure in Trindade to welcome visitors, offering good accommodation and restaurant options.
